That's less than the touch version of the regular XPS 13 (2.9 pounds) and lighter than the HP Spectre x360 (2.8 pounds) and the Lenovo Yoga 910 (3.04 pounds). Previously, the IR/RGB was combined into one camera resulting in about 20% loss of the pixels used for the IR portion and Windows Hello. Dell now has two cameras (one RGB, one IR), which gets better quality/resolution.
